SEEING WITH YOUR HEART
The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a
green thing that stands in the way. Some see Nature all ridicule and
deformity, and some scarce see Nature at all. But to the eyes of the
man of imagination, Nature is Imagination itself.
- William Blake, 1799, The Letters
Trees are poems that earth writes upon the sky,
We fell them down and turn them into paper,
That we may record our emptiness.
- Kahlil Gibran
What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror reflection
of what we are doing to ourselves and to one another.
- Gandhi
Learn to see, and then you'll know that
there is no end to the new worlds of our vision.
- Carlos Castaneda
Your vision will become clear only when you look
into your heart. ... Who looks outside, dreams.
Who looks inside, awakens.
- Carl Jung
When there's nothing to see, look.
- Dakota Indian saying
The heart has eyes which the brain knows nothing of.
- Charles H. Perkhurst
If you gaze for long, the abyss also gazes into you.
- Nietzsche
The question is not what you look at, but what you see.
- Thoreau
KNOW THAT WE COULD ALL LEARN TO "SEE" BETTER...
IMAGINE MORE...
FEEL IT WITH OUR HEARTS...
